Taxi from Princess Juliana International Airport to Sandy Ground
Sandy Ground is the narrow strip between the lagoon and the sea on the French side, just outside Marigot. The road in is single-carriageway for the last stretch, so the trip takes longer than the distance suggests.
About 9 minutes in normal traffic.
This trip crosses the Simpson Bay bridge. When it opens for boats the road stops completely, which can add fifteen minutes or more. Worth allowing for if you are heading to a flight.
