Downstairs the lounge and bar pull a smaller after-work crowd for cocktails. Service is unhurried and personal; the owners are often on the floor. What to Try
Start with the conch chowder or the crispy calamari rings ΓÇö both signatures that regulars order without thinking. For mains, the blackened grouper is the dish people come back for, and the seafood medley (shrimp, scallops, and Caribbean lobster) is the splurge-worthy plate for a special night. Book the balcony ΓÇö specifically a corner table on the harbour side ΓÇö and ask for a 6:00 or 6:15 seating so you're settled with a drink as the sun drops behind Monkey Hill and the lights of Basseterre come on. The restaurant is only open Monday through Friday, so plan around that: cruise-day Fridays fill fastest, and weekend visitors often miss it entirely.
