Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport
Anguilla's airport
Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport (AXA) is at The Quarter, near The Valley. It was known as Wallblake Airport for most of its life and is still called that by many locals. It handles regional aircraft rather than long-haul jets.
Flying versus the ferry
Many visitors do not arrive here at all. Anguilla sits a few miles off St Martin, and the sea crossing from Blowing Point to Marigot — along with the direct boat service from St Maarten's airport — carries a large share of arrivals. If you are connecting through SXM, compare the boat with a regional flight before you book.
Getting around
The island is small and the airport is close to The Valley, so transfers are short wherever you are staying. Taxis meet arrivals and most hotels will arrange a pickup.
