Baie Nettle is the narrow spit between the lagoon and the sea on the approach to Marigot, and the route there crosses the Simpson Bay bridge before entering the French side.

This trip crosses the Simpson Bay bridge. When it opens for boats the road stops completely, which can add fifteen minutes or more. Worth allowing for if you are heading to a flight.
