About Anse Marcel
Anse Marcel is a hidden gem located on the French side of Saint Martin, tucked away in a sheltered cove surrounded by lush green hills. The beach features fine white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters that remain calm due to the natural protection provided by the surrounding hills. This tranquil setting makes it particularly popular with families, as the shallow, gentle waters are ideal for children and inexperienced swimmers. The bay is adjacent to the Port de Lonvilliers marina and features several upscale resorts and beachfront restaurants offering French and Caribbean cuisine. The beach is part of the National Nature Reserve of Saint Martin, offering incredible biodiversity both above and below the water. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the neighboring island of Anguilla from the sand.
