How to apply for a French national identity card (CNI) in Saint-Martin

The six steps the Collectivite sets out

1. Put your file together

2. Complete your pre-application online

3. Book an appointment to lodge your application

4. Attend the appointment with the documents to be supplied

5. Track the progress of your application

6. Collect your CNI without an appointment

The identity card is free of charge, except for a renewal application after loss or theft. In that case the required tax stamp costs 25€.
