Expect a classic gentlemen's-club setup ΓÇö dim red-and-pink lighting, a small stage, a long bar pouring Parbo, Heineken and rum-cola, and hostesses working the room. The crowd skews local regulars, off-shift oil and gold-sector workers, and the occasional curious traveler who's wandered down the street from a nearby bar or hotel. It is unapologetically what it is: an adult venue, not a dance club, and the vibe is more lounge than rave.
What to Try
Stick with what the bar does best: an ice-cold Parbo (the national lager) or a Borgoe rum-and-cola, which is the default Surinamese nightcap. If you're settling in for the evening, most tables run on bottle service ΓÇö a bottle of Borgoe with mixers is the standard order and works out cheaper than rounds of singles.
