What to Try
Order the bami (fried noodles) or nasi (fried rice) topped with kip (chicken) or the house roasted meat ΓÇö Lian Fa's fried rice and noodles are what locals rave about, and the roasted pork sliced over the top is the star. Ask them to add a fried egg on top (the classic Surinamese move) and a side of sambal for heat. If you're hungry, a moksi meti plate ΓÇö mixed roasted meats over rice ΓÇö is the closest thing to a Surinamese-Chinese greatest-hits sampler.
