At the café, order whatever the chef is doing with the day's catch and pair it with a sundowner on the deck. Grab an e-bike for the ten-minute coast down to Lower Town's dive shops, and ask the front desk to coordinate a shore dive at the Aquarium site — one of Statia's best-kept underwater secrets.

The pool sundeck faces due west, and because Statia sits low on the trade-wind track, the sunsets here regularly light up the whole sky over Saba — but the real move is to time dinner for the tail end of that window. Ask the kitchen to hold your table on the terrace and start eating around 6:15pm; you'll catch the color show through the entire first course. Also: the e-bikes go fast — reserve one at check-in, not the morning of.
