Tucked into Centre Commercial La Savane opposite the airport, Happy Days has been quietly art-directing St Barth's most photogenic birthdays, baby showers, bachelorettes and villa weddings since 2015 — and it's the rare stop where the shop itself is nearly as fun as the parties it stages.
The Experience
Step inside and the vibe is more design studio than party store: color-blocked walls of matte, chrome and pearl balloons, ready-made tassel garlands, glitter backdrops, photo-booth props and rolls of ribbon and fabric styled the way a florist arranges stems. Staff switch easily between French and English and are used to fielding everything from a last-minute 'we need something for tonight's dinner on the yacht' to a fully mood-boarded wedding welcome. Even if you didn't come to plan an event, browsing feels like flipping through an island lookbook — and you'll walk out with ideas (and probably a helium bouquet).
What to Try
Ask to see the custom arch and column portfolio — their sculptural balloon installations in cloud-white, chrome-gold or sunset-ombré are the signature. For smaller occasions, grab a ready-to-go tassel garland, a personalized 'Happy Birthday' banner, or a helium bouquet to dress a villa dinner table. They also stock backdrops, photo-booth props and fabric drapery, and can add custom vinyl lettering (names, dates, logos) while you wait if the shop isn't slammed.

Walk-in stock is great for spur-of-the-moment celebrations, but the real magic — full installations, luxury 'cloud' ceilings, branded backdrops — needs lead time. Book classic decor 4–6 weeks ahead and bachelorette packages 2–3 months out, especially in high season (December–April). Deliveries start around €200 and installs from €300, with full payment due 72 hours before the event, so lock in early. And note the French lunch break: they close 12–1pm, Tuesday to Saturday only.
