The Experience
Grace is a two-level architectural villa built for barefoot luxury: warm beige interiors are lifted by flashes of orange and royal blue, and glass walls slide open so the living room, the terraces, and the heated infinity pool all read as one continuous space. Three bedrooms sit on each floor — six en-suites total, sleeping up to twelve — so multigenerational families and groups of friends can spread out without ever tripping over each other. Days here have a rhythm: sunrise coffee on the upper deck watching the surf break at Anse des Cayes below, a workout in the ocean-view fitness room, a slow lunch by the pool, and evenings that stretch long over rosé as the sky turns pink behind the headland. The staff — 24/7 concierge, daily housekeeping (except Sundays), and a complimentary first-morning breakfast delivery — quietly handles everything from provisioning to reserving hard-to-get tables in Gustavia, leaving guests to do very little except enjoy the view.
What to Try
Book the villa on a full-week basis to unlock the concierge's best work — pre-arrival provisioning, a private chef for one or two dinners on the terrace, and boat charters out to Colombier or Île Fourchue. Take the ten-minute walk down to Anse des Cayes beach at golden hour when the local surfers are out, then drive five minutes over the ridge to Saint-Jean for shopping and sunset drinks. Don't skip a morning workout in the fitness room — the ocean view through the glass is the whole point.
Insider Tip
Anse des Cayes is one of the few beaches on St Barth with a real (if modest) surf break, and it's almost always calmer at first light. Ask the concierge to arrange an early board rental and be in the water by 7am — you'll have the cove essentially to yourself before the island wakes up, and be back at the villa in time for the complimentary breakfast delivery.
The Practical Stuff
Six bedrooms, twelve guests, heated infinity pool, fitness room, and full A/C throughout. Rental is by the villa (not by the room) and typically requires a minimum stay — plan on a week in high season. A rental car is essential; the villa is a 5-minute drive from the airport and Saint-Jean, 10 minutes from Gustavia. The nearest beach is a ten-minute walk downhill (the walk back up is steeper than it looks — drive if you're carrying gear). Daily maid service is included Monday–Saturday; Sundays and French public holidays are staff-free.
