Start with the conch fritters — crisp, peppery and unmistakably Kittitian — then commit to either the Vibes Burger (the house benchmark) or a plate of Vibes Wings, which regulars will tell you are the reason to come back. After 5pm the grill turns serious: whole grilled lobster in season, honey-glazed ribs, and line-caught snapper or fresh fillet cooked simply. On the drinks side, skip the generic frozen stuff and ask the bartender for their signature rum cocktail — they lean into local rums and tropical fruit, and it's a much better read of the island than another piña colada.

Don't drive. Vibes runs a complimentary shuttle from most Frigate Bay hotels, which means you can drink the rum punches the way they're meant to be drunk. If you're coming from Basseterre or a cruise ship, grab a chair and umbrella from the bar (rentals are cheap), then order food and drinks straight to your lounger — the servers work the sand, not just the tables. Come on a night with a big football or cricket match on and you'll see the sports-bar side of the personality; come on a themed party night and the DJ takes over. Ask the staff which is on before you commit.
