Why Go
You'll spot the electric-green shack from halfway down Pinney's Beach ΓÇö and once your toes hit the sand out front, leaving becomes negotiable. Lime has been the unofficial living room of Nevis since Randy Jeffers opened it in 2009, drawing yachties, expats, honeymooners from the Four Seasons next door, and locals who all end up sharing the same picnic tables by sundown.
The Experience
There are really three Limes stitched together on one stretch of beach. The main open-air restaurant is the mellow side: bare feet, cool mint-scented towels handed over before the menu, ceiling fans pushing warm trade winds around. Slide a few steps over and you're at the Beach Club ΓÇö livelier, louder, the kind of place where the bartender remembers your drink after round two. Upstairs is Green Flash, the rooftop cocktail lounge angled directly at St. Kitts across The Narrows, which is where everyone drifts as the sun starts dropping. The vibe rolls from lazy lunch to sundowner ritual to late-night reggae without ever feeling like it flipped a switch.
What to Try
Order the grilled catch of the day — usually mahi or snapper pulled in that morning — served simply with rice, peas, and plantain. The jerk chicken has real bite, not the tourist-friendly version. Save room for the complimentary pumpkin fritters with mango salsa that arrive unannounced. On the drinks side, the house Green Flash cocktail (rum, blue curaçao, pineapple, coconut) is the one people photograph, but the Boobie Trap upstairs at the lounge is the real sunset move. Wood-fired pies from the pizza shack around the side are the sleeper hit for a lighter graze.

Come for lunch, stay for sunset ΓÇö don't try to arrive at 5:45 and grab a rooftop seat, because everyone else has the same idea. Post up by 4 pm with a cocktail, claim your spot at Green Flash upstairs, and watch for the actual green flash on the horizon the second the sun disappears. Fridays get busy with the Four Seasons crowd; midweek afternoons are pure hammock energy.

Located on Pinney's Beach, a short taxi from Charlestown (about 10 minutes) or a five-minute stroll south from the Four Seasons Resort. Cash (EC or USD) and major cards accepted. No reservations for the beach bar; the main restaurant will take them for larger groups. Open daily for lunch and dinner, with the rooftop lounge kicking in late afternoon. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and zero expectations of being anywhere on time afterward.
